Not back in the USSR but the UK.

Arrived back safe and sound yesterday morning on the ferry from Zeebrugge to Rosyth, after a super holiday in Denmark. Sorry about not being able to do my Blog we had no email or mobile phone connection, however it was good to have a break!
We were away for a whole month the first ten days the family spent with us in Lonstrop in West Jutland. The drive there was heavy going, especially on the autobahns in Germany, we stopped about half way and met our good friends Heiner and Marion.
We all stayed at Hotel Schroeder enjoyed a good meal courtesy of Heiner and Marion to celebrate Heiner's 50th birthday!
The house we stayed at was fine, swimming pool was good enjoyed my early morning swims, weather was lovely warm and sunny, sometimes windy. Bella was a star Graham and moi took her early morning walks to the beach before picking up the breakfast rolls! she enjoyed the beach and walking round the sofa's in the house. She gave us lots of laughs and the house was very quiet once they left.
Very lazy holiday lots of walks, swimming, reading, knitting, afternoon naps! Loved the Danish pastries and the fresh fish and prawns from Skagen the northern most town in Jutland.
The sand-dunes were fantastic about 100 metres in height, we enjoyed walking through the woods to get to them and climbing them was some adventure! The light and space was something else and has to be experienced to be believed!
Denmark is a lovely country and everything appears to work-recycling is great, public toilets work and no graffetti, though the people can appear to be reserved, and cars are allowed on most beaches!
Still tired from the journey so will say Goodnight!
