Cheers dear Ladies

Out on the town on Monday with my three good chums from work, great night as usual. Lots to talk about, drink and I enjoyed my French fries with lashings of ketchup, whilst they tucked into delicious 'Mac Cheese'. I didn't have this delicacy as it is on the menufor Tuesday evening when the family are with us for dinner. Busy day before going to the city, Oh and my new debit card didn't appear to be working !! and I needed money. Phoned the bank and apparently it was the local ATM that was kaput! Borrowed money from S and had a fun night. Away to the Red Rose County to visit the Memsahib on Thursday with the girls for a couple of nights.

First Snow & a Lot of Happenings Week

The first snow fell in the city overnight, only a small amount but it covered the ground in the woods. Lovely walk in the woods with Ruaridh, watery sunlight lighting up the snow on the ground. Friends for lunch on Tuesday, lovely to have them here and The Wonder Dog was very well behaved. We had a laugh and discussions that could have turned into heated debates if swerves had not been introduced:) Wednesday our good chum Tony came for dinner, much talk, eating and drinking a very pleasant evening. Thursday dawned and Bella is Six Years old today--we sang Happy Birthday over the phone to her. This evening we enjoyed a family dinner pizza's -- the choice of the Birthday Girl, at the family home.Lots of lovely cards and pressies--overwhelming at times. Happy Birthday Bella have a fun year.

Damson Port.

Today Layla and me bottled the Damson port for the third time--here's hoping! We have bottled it twice before and the corks have got blown off. Well success at last corks remained in bottles now ready to drink at the Festive Time. Frosty day but lots of sunshine. Looked after Bella this evening when she came home from her friends.
