"Monkey Puzzle Tree"

Today we travelled out to Gowanbank Village to introduce a friend to the people who live there. They bought the place in 1992 as a part ruin and with the help of various bodies they have renovated the houses, they look amazing. Apparently in years gone by it used to house the head quarryman, and other quarrymen. As the guys were doing business Ruaridh and moi set off to explore, and found lots of garden ground, and woodland and there in the woods were lots of Monkey Puzzle Trees! Immediately took me back to childhood when we used to chant "How would you like to be a Monkey in a Monkey Puzzle Tree?" Happy Days!
