The Ocean

After the excitment of the 'Bat Intruder' last night today has been somewhat quiet. Weather a mixture of sun and showers, so difficult to start to do the garden-mowing and strimming that is.
Took Ruaridh down to the beach and as the ocean was this amazing colour took some photographs. In summer and winter the sea can be anything from blue to turquoise to dirty brown, depending on the weather. One thing though it is always freezing cold, this gives us empty beaches which being selfish I appreciate!
Waiting for the rosehips to ripen so I can start to make the rosehip syrup, for Layla. Also going to make another batch of cucumber relish and another of courgette relish, busy, busy.
