One of those Days

Graham had to go to Glasgow today to visit his mother. Layla telephoned and said she was coming over, she also offered to take me to 'Doggie Style' at 1500 hours as the dog was having his biannual 'strip'. Sorted the increase out in our monthly direct debit electricity account, which I will not be paying, had to wait twenty minutes for them to answer the call! will tackle mum's energy problem tomorrow!
Layla arrived but felt very tired, encouraged her to have a nap, I took Ruaridh for a walk, unplugging the telephone before going so as not to disturb Layla. When I arrived back tried to phone Graham to no avail, twenty minutes later Layla reminded me I had unplugged the telephone! Hmmm!
Had lunch then got ready to go as time was marching on. Went upstairs to get my watch, could not find it anywhere, why cause it was already on my wrist!
Put Ruaridh in the back of the car, and with the passenger door still open Layla started to drive off, I did a kind of run and jump and managed to sit on the seat, Layla had only forgotten I was going with her! had a good laugh.
Went over to "Next" at Craigleith Retail Park, left the dog in the car and lo and behold the alarm kept going off, poor Ruaridh wondered what had happened.
From then on events went smoother, and Ruaridh looks fandabby since his visit to the grooming salon!
