Green Belt

Another very warm and sunny day for October. Layla not too well this a.m. sore throat and ears, advised her to stay in and keep cozy. Couldn't go over as Graham was going through to Glasgow and required the car, and to take wee Ruaridh on the bus would be a bit of a hassle, as he would want to lick everyone!! Took him to the woods and once again he was well behaved, didn't really meet anyone.
Graham left for Glasgow, telephoned Layla, who was feeling a little better, but still tired, tried to telephone mum but no reply guess she is out? Did some washing and knitting, had a light lunch then started to attack our back garden, it was quite hard work pulling out roots etc, however it was warm in the sun and I enjoyed this. Ruaridh did not help but stood at the door supervising! Managed to get hold of mum on the phone about 1700 hours she had been out and about, and was fine.
Graham arrived home, and we had a cup of tea, I then made dinner-pasta and tomato sauce which we ate later.
Did quite a lot of knitting this evening and tonight, now going to have tea and toast-eating day today!! then to bed. Goodnight.
Forgot to mention watched a DVD tonight about dogs and owners brilliant! called 'The Best in Show'
