The cold

Have had a stinking cold the last two days, eating paracetamols and drinking fluids ++ is holding it at bay for most of the time. Awoke to snow on the mountain tops, up at 0900h today early morning tea then a lovely leisurely bath and hairwash. Breakfast porridge and fried egg sandwich with a good cup of coffee.
Took the wee dog down to the beach he enjoyed running about, and chasing the oyster catchers and leaves, the weather was dull but fine.
Came back made bread, had tea and cake, carried on reading my Christmas book 'A Thousand Splendid Sons' by Khaled Hosseini excellent, nearly finished it. Did my blip.
Lovely Paella for dinner made by Graham, starting to feel rotten again so a drink and paracetamol x2 then to bed. Goodnight
