Library Visit

Today the weather was awful warm with lots of rain and plenty of midges, so we decided to head into Kyle of Lochalsh to visit the lirbrary and get some messages. Also I had to visit the post office as my wee Canon digital camera has gone on the blink, it is now on its way to the assessment place in Glasgow so hope they can fix it! Did our shopping at the Co-op which for once was a rather pain free exercise in and out in no time, which is surprising as there were lots of tourists in the area!
Into the library and they were able to get me some of of Penelope Fitzgerald's books, as a write up was done on her in last weeks Guardian. So before I buy any thought I may as well loan some to see if I like them! Also managed to choose a book today I have already read in hardback, ah well can't win them all!
Took Ruaridh a walk in the woods on the way up the hill, must try and start taking him longer walks though he does appear to be tired after the midgy fiasco on Tuesday poor wee dog. Back home late lunch, Ruaridh is resting well on the sofa as I write.
Fish (cod), potato wedges and parsley sauce for dinner delicious.
Layla telephoned they are having a lovely holiday, spoke to mum she appears to be OK.
Watched a programme about Mark Bolan on BBC4 interesting. Bye.
