Hail
Up around 0800h to feed and let Ruaridh out into the garden. Back to bed to doze and read the Saturday Guardian. Up and about, porridge for breakfast then a wash. Layla telephoned, Bella is still not herself so a quiet day.
We set off to Corstorphine Hill with the wee fellow for a walk in brilliant sunshine, loads of dogs there today. Had a good walk, on the way down noticed the dark clouds rolling in from the west, then the rain sweeping in down the Forth. Suddenly we were in the middle of a hail storm, nothing we could do as there was no shelter, didn't last to long almost home before the rain came!
No gardening done today hopefully tomorrow. Spoke to Layla again she sent me a link to some professional development she may do. Spoke to mum she is feeling good today.
Made bread, did some ironing, Graham made dinner, leek and potato soup with crackers followed by sardines on toast and a cuppa, lovely.
Phoned Liz hoping to see her at the end of this month in Aberdeen.
Watching a programme about Hitchcock by Paul Merton on BBC4. Bye.
