Quiet Weekend

Yesterday Saturday was quiet mucked around for most of the day, before taking the Wonder dog to the woods. Then went over to the family's as we were looking after Bella as Joe and Layla were going out for dinner.
We had a great time looking through one of Miss B's books she got in her Treasure Chest from the library. We enjoyed our veggie burgers and chips for dinner, then we watched some animated Fairy Tales on a DVD Layla borrowed from the library-amazing. They were all produced in what would have been Eastern Europe and they are just fantastic- Goldilock's appeared to be on 'acid'. Nuff said!
Bella then went to bed and was soon in dreamland after telling me 'I'm not sleepy!
Graham and moi watched a programme about Michael Angelo, and then one about the trains in Bombay both very interesting! Layla and joe hd a good time when they arrived back we headed home.
Up this morning with the Wonder Dog 0800h on the dot, he had his breakfast and out in the garden, made the cider vinegar and honey potion then back to bed. Read for a wee while then crashed out until 1030h. Read the paper then up and made breakfast-a fry-up lovely. Had a wash, pottered then took the wee fellow to the woods, good walk and good to see the new life (shoots) appearing in the earth.
Back home cake and tea, phoned mum she is still full of a cold, spoke to Layla and Bella who with Joe went swimming today.
Made bread, did some knitting read an interesting article from last weeks Review in the Guardian 'The Iliad'--The first book of War, excellent.
Graham made leek and pea risotto for dinner with salad--lovely.
Watched 'The Bible' on Channel 4 with Ann Widdecombe she has Faith! Just going to watch 'The Seven Ages of Britain' with David Dimblby. Bye
