Fun time

Lovely to be at the cottage with Bella and the family for a few days. Up early this morning and had a play after Bella had her cereal-read her a story then attempted to watch Charlie and Lola but the broadband is quite week so a bit of a hit and a miss.
Joe was the waffle man today, made delicious waffles with maple syrup, veggie sausage and bacon with mugs of fresh coffee-delicious.
We decided to go down to the beach when a dry spell arrived, all piled into the car with Ruaridh of course and headed off for the beach. What a surprise awaited us Bella found a mermaid doll by a rock pool-her tail and hair the colour of the sea. Bella was delighted with her and cuddled up to her. Ruaridh enjoyed some stone throwing into the sea, then the rain started so back to the car and home.
Soup and rolls for a late lunch, then got a fire going in the sitting room stove and Bella, Grandpa, moi and Ruaridh watched 'Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'--great.
We had crisps and juice during the film and enjoyed this treat.
For dinner we had rice and vegetables with a Japanese curry sauce or sweet and sour sauce, for the ones who liked it prawns and mushrooms in one of Graham's made up sauces! with wraps-delicious.
Once the wee one was in bed we settled down with beer and more crisps to watch 'Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll' about Ian Dury very good! Did my blip, tired to bed. Goodnight.
