Mussels

When we were walking along the beach yesterday, I decided that I would like to try and do some abstract art. So spent my time taking photographs of different things related to the ocean and the shore, so who knows what art works I may develop in the next few months! Of particular interest were groups of mussels forming interesting patterns on the rocks as the tide went out. This brought to mind a restaurant we visited in New Zealand about three years ago known as "The Mussel Boys", where mussels are served as the main ingredient, but cooked in various ways and in different dishes, delicious food!- don't know how that name would go down in the United Kingdom!
Today we are in "Old Reekie" for 2 to 3 days to attend a wedding of Layla's old school chum. Layla and Joe were here for a bought Pizza dinner, Ruaridh was delighted to see them both.
