Tadpoles

Graham was away overnight, so Ruaridh and me had quite a leisurely morning. We had breakfast, then waited for postie Lexi to come, Ruaridh gave her his usual loving greeting and in the process her biro pen was nicked! We then motored down to the beach, it was sunny but a cold northerly wind kept us on the move. On the way back up to the Jeep the pup stopped to have a drink at a large puddle and was quite taken by the tadpoles swimming about there. I think they must have tickled his nose, as he kept shaking his head but didn't try to catch them.
Graham arrived back home about 1815 hours very tired from the long drives. He brought us a new Hosta plant, and some fresh herbs, rosemary, sage and thyme.
Sat having dinner this evening glanced up and looked out of the east window, couldn't believe my eyes snow on the hilltops. Roll on Summer !!
