'Baghdad Burning'

Weeks ago Graham mentioned the Blog of a young woman in Iraq, 'Baghdad Burning.' I have just recently started to read this Blog and it makes harrowing and soulful reading, especially the following words "I'll meet you round the bend my friend, where hearts can heal and souls can mend." I have been against the invasion of Iraq from the beginning, realising that the chaos that has ensued there was inevitable. Yes Saddam's regime needed to be dismantled, but could have been achieved in other ways, but the continuing flow of oil is essential to the west!
