Up in the Loft

Today was once again warm and sunny, had breakfast, then Graham had to go into the studio to assist his P/A. Layla had telephoned to say she had a sore ear and throat and was going to the Doctors for an emergency appointment at 1215 hours, then coming over for lunch. I took Ruaridh into the woods and we had a super walk, lovely sunshine streaming through the trees. Only sad event was when trying to find Ruaridh as he chased squirrels, I saw this horrible settee that had just been dumped in what is our "Local Nature Reserve"!!
Layla came over with strawberries and fromage frais, we had cheese and salad sandwiches followed by the former, lovely.
Then got the steps out and went into the loft, Layla convinced that some of HER baby things were there. She was right found a 'babygro', small cardigan and sheet and a lovely blue wool blanket, all washed now and as new!
Went over to supermarket took the car and all the empty wine and beer bottles phew quite a load! did a bigger shop to go up North, hopefully on Wednesday.
Graham through to Glasgow to see his mother, I made dinner and took the wee dog another walk.
Got more patterns to knit baby cardigans size 0-3months. Goodnight.
