Isle of Skye Smokehouse

Today with severe weather warnings in place we set off to get the messages, as is our want we set off for The Misty Isle. Lucky for us the wind and rain slowed down and at times the sun came out so it turned out to be a pleasant trip. First stop was a woodland one so that Ruaridh could have a walk, we walked for a wee way then back to the car to carry on to the Co-op in Broadford. Managed to get most of our messages, but no undyed smoked haddock, however we were directed to the Isle of Skye Smokehouse and here we were able to buy it, along with some lovely looking scallops. We will return! Took Ruaridh for a run on the beach. Then set off to Kyle.
Got what we required here then on to Balmacara to get the free range eggs.
Home cup of tea and an eccles cake, then I got stuck in and made pizza's and coleslaw for dinner, it tasted good.
Just watching Hugh's Chicken Run regarding free range chickens-interesting. Bye
