One new window in!!

Today we now have one new window in situ John H arrived this morning and by 1630h we had the upstair window in place, it looks amazing and just finishes off the room. Once the bats have disappeared from their pew at the side of the dormer in the room we occupy now, the window in there is also being changed, roll on!
Up quite early shower and hairwash then breakfast before John arrived. Very warm and humid today Ruaridh and moi went a walk down by the river to the west, we coudn't go too far as the path was very overgrown with bulrushes and even with wellies on it was difficult!
Back home helped with the small things in putting in the window like making cups of tea and a light lunch!
Did lots of ironing, also attempted to do some drawing again as I want to make some labels for the rosehip syrup bottles, not a brilliant attempt but a start.
Stew, mashed tatties and green beans for dinner made by Graham lovely.
Phoned our friends Pete and Sheena, must try and see them soon they just live about 60 miles up the road. Bye.
