Freezing

Up quite late this morning as Ruaridh as is his want had a lie in! Made the early morning cuppa, then had a lovely bath and hairwash very relaxing. Porridge once again for breakfast it does taste good. Made the dough for the bread, then got ready to take Ruaridh down to the beach.
It was freezing down at the beach think it was the wind chill, anyway we set off and had a lovely brisk walk no throwing or skimming stones though as the water was very icy!
Back home had a late lunch then John H phoned and said he would be up later to discuss the work we wanted done.
Spent the afternoon listening to the play on Radio 4 very good, did some knitting and made the bread . Layla telephoned she sounded fine and Bella is OK.
John came and we had a cuppa and discussed the work, all appears to be in order!
Pasta with salmon in cream sauce, salad and bread for dinner lovely.
Just going to do the dishes then have a cuppa and bed! Goodnight.
