Inauguration
A historic day today Barack Obama inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States of America hopefully new beginnings there and for the world. Happy to watch it live on television with Layla and Bella a great moment.
Up with Graham breakfast then Layla telephoned to say she had dropped the wee one off at 'the little school' was going to have a look at the shops then come over. Washed up then started making the bread, just about to have a shower and hairwash when Layla arrived so a quick wash before taking Ruaridh to the park and woods.
Ruaridh had a great time, joy of joys he met Phoebe his other doggie chum and had a great play! We had a nice walk. Back home made the bread then got part of the dinner ready for tonight. Had lunch then listened to the afternoon play on Radio 4 excellent.
Then we went to pick up Miss B, she was happy to see us, back to ours as the family are staying for dinner.
Bella entertained me, as usual she makes me laugh, she did help me in the kitchen to finish making the dinner. We had vegetable pie with puff pastry, mashed potatoes and broad beans for dinner Bella had pasta and tomato sauce.
After they had gone home phoned mum she appears to be OK very chatty! Booked my ticket for going down to mums on Friday. Heard from Heiner today he arrives on Saturday in The Red Rose County. Bye.
