Sorry

Sorry no Blog for the last three days as I was down in Scarborough visiting my chum Sue. She has been over from British Columbia visiting her elderly uncle and aunt. Uncle is very ill snd she wanted to see him, also to offer support to her aunt who is in her nineties. I had a good visit and managed to see aunty who appeared to be bearing up fine, I have great affection for this couple who were always very kind to us when we rolled up on their doorstep as students, they always gave us a bed and food.
Enjoyed seeing Sue, the food was good as was the alcohol, and it was an experience to stay at The Grand Hotel! especially as the 'cot' bed they put into Sue's room for moi collapsed twice and I ended up on a mattress on the floor--I slept. The weather was quite good sun, wind and sometimes bleak. Left with Sue on Sunday spent most of the day in York, drinking coffee, shopping and having lunch, said bye to her and jumped onto my train.
Graham and Ruaridh met me in Edinburgh good to see them both.
Today had a lot of business to attend to, had breakfast with Graham, did the boring stuff then a shower and washed my hair. Ruaridh and moi set off to walk to the shore and along it. Super walk really enjoyed it, it was sunny, quite windy but invigorating! Ruaridh met a Springer Spaniel pup and had a good play, got a bit boisterous, then had a fun time running and jumping after stones in the sea.
Back home had lunch, made the dinner for tonight veggie haggis, tatties, neeps and carrots which tasted delicious.
Just spoken to mum for the second time as she is full of a cold, feeling better tonight. Dishes done, think we must take Ruaridh for a stroll! Bye.
