Crocus

Yesterday awoke to the sun and a blue sky--, thought I would take the Wonder Dog to the beach as we haven't been there in a while.
When we arrived the dark clouds gathered and spots of hail came down it was bl--dy freezing.
Needless to say Ruaridh loved it, and so did I. He loved running after stones thrown into the water, also played with a couple of dogs.
Then down to Waitrose for messages and the heavens opened. Cosy at home now lunch and the Afternoon Play!
Did some ironing and then started to get dinner ready. Took Ruaridh to meet Graham off the bus on the park we met Dolores and Ziggy the dogs had a great play!
Fish pie and peas for dinner. Finished most of the knitting of the cardigan just to sew up and do the borders now. To bed.
Up this morning frost and mist very cold! After Graham had left Ruaridh and moi went to the park and woods, on the way there we saw Phoebe a neighbours dog running on the road, took her home Jackie her owner was not there, got her son out of bed though! Met Jackie on the park told her where the dog was!
Had a good walk met lots of dog walkers, and of course the dogs. Ruaridh had a great play with Jessie the Golden Cocker Spaniel pup, she is hilarious. Lovely to see the wee crocus popping their heads up through the earth.
Made pancakes, today is Pancake Tuesday, also got the dough ready for the bread.
Listened to the afternoon play on Radio 4 'English in Afghanistan' well worth listening too.
Going to do some ironing then will pack as we are going to the Glen tomorrow.
Sent a card to an old family friend whose husband died recently, he was a great pal of my dad's. Made the bread, took Ruaridh to the park and woods and met Ziggy and Dolores walked with them.
Graham home made a cuppa and had some pancakes.
Pasta with tomatoes, garlic, chilli and basil in olive oil delicious.
Packed the clothes and some food stuffs up, finish it off in the morning. Tired going to bed in a minute or two. Goodnight.
