The Long Trek

When I was down in Edinburgh recently met up with Grace an old friend who is retiring sometime this year from her post at the Western General Hospital. We got chatting and she started to tell me that she was going on a trek to Peru to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. Instead of Birthday/Retiral gifts she is asking people to sponser her in this endevour. On the other hand just heard on the news tonight that a Turner painting of Venice had sold for $32,000,000! two people were vying for this masterpiece. Bless them! just makes me wonder why one of them stopped, what's another million or two when the stakes are so large already.
Brings to mind when I was in Venice only managed a photograph, oh well! They guys were entertaining though.
