Cullen Skink

Heiner asked to have the 'fish soup' for dinner this evening, this being Cullen Skink, I served it once when he and Marion were here and since then they have always asked for it when they visit. It consists of sliced onions, sliced potatoes cooked in equal parts of milk and water over a medium heat, until soft, then undyed smoked haddock added and cooked for a further 10 minutes, salt to taste and plenty of black pepper, Delicious!
After Graham had left Heiner and moi had breakfast, porridge which tasted great and toast!
Then got ready to go to the park and Ravelston woods with the Wonder Dog, met lots of people and dogs, Ruaridh had a great play with some of them and a good walk.
Over to Craigleith Retail Park to get Heiner some shoes-success! and some messages from the dreaded super store.
Back home made bread and the above for dinner, tasted great when we ate. Bye.
