Predator?

Walking on the beach noticed this strange formation that looked at first glance like a claw. Who goes there methinks Tyrannosaurus Rex ? but no it turned out to be a piece of seaweed in the shape of a claw!
Allan, Sue and dog Molly arrived later on Saturday afternoon, they are staying overnight on their way to the island of Berneray, which is now joined to South Uist by a causeway, super beaches there and when the sun is shining the ocean is the deepest blue. Lovely to see them all again, good meal and gossip! Molly is now 12 years old and poor wee Ruaridh couldn't understand that she did not want to play-what a dogs life!
Heading south tomorrow to do a stint of work looking forward to catching up with old friends.
