"Cousin Caterpillar"

Today dawned sunny and warm. Had to get myself organised very quickly re picking up the Jeep, so I telephoned the garage, yes it was ready with its MOT. Phoned Thomas who was going to drop Ruaridh and moi off, on his way back to the Isle of Lewis, and arranged to meet him at 1100 hours. Layla phoned and was good to hear that she was ok. Had a good trip over and picked up the Jeep, set off back, just as we got to the top of the hill the low fuel light came on, damn had forgot to check for fuel. Decided to go straight back to the cottage, and ask Graham to bring fuel up in a container. Free wheeled down the hill, when we got home the fuel gage had gone up again!
Decided to take the dog to the beach, had a good walk the wind was quite chilly, but ok if you kept on the move. Ruaridh did go into 'his pool' but no swim today, just paddled.
Sat the other day on the deck and watched this furry caterpillar make its way across the wooden slats and over the gaps, amazing the way it moved, reminded me of The Incredible Sring Bands song "Cousin Caterpillar", super wee creature.
Graham returned this evening good to have him home, and his mum appears to be fairly comfortable.
Layla arrived back in Edinburgh about 2200 hours, the textile exhibition had been good.
Programme on television about Marvin Gaye, have bopped to his music over the years.
