The Blue Boat 2

Today was a sad day in the Glen, my neighbour Christine's collie dog aptly named Glen was found dead this morning. He was 18 years old but was always roaming the glens, and I am led to believe fathered many a litter. He used to just tolerate Ruaridh who always wanted to play with him, only last Saturday he pushed his nose up to the garden fence then, quick as a flash was gone.
Set of quite early for us this morning, as the Jeep had to go to the garage to see if anything was required for the MOT. Another sunny, warm day, took Ruaridh to the beach, forgot to mention that the Blue Boat mentioned in an earlier Blog on 23 July 2006 , has now ended up on the beach. It laid upside down on the other side of the river estuary for ages, but probably due to high tides and strong winds, now lies the right way up on our side of the river, on the beach. Sadly however some damage occured, and now half the starboard side is away.
Christines brother was on his way from the Isle of Lewis to Fort William and was taking her through, so I took her over the hill to meet him.
Did more strimming still require more practise.
Going to get on knitting the baby blanket.-Goodnight!
