Blue Monday

Today is meant to be the most depressing day of the year, can't say early on I felt cock-a- hoop, but a wash, porridge with a splodge of maple syrup for breakfast and the sun rising over the mountains lifted my spirits toute suite.
Had business things to deal with this morning one or two disagreements over the phone but what the hell, this is the 21st C.
Our neighbour Christine arrived she was going to collect some sticks then soil from the mole hills. Quick chat then away to the beach. Lovely walk with Ruaridh who found an old bone much to his delight.
Back home Christine popped up for lunch, then Graham chain sawed some logs and I stacked them in the log store.
Made bread and dog biscuits for Ruaridh which he loves, himself trotted between ourselves and Christine who was getting soil from the mole hills for her garden
Sunshine all day, super. Dinner tonight squash risotto, salad and foccacia delicious.
watching Clash of the Worlds-Palastine on BBC4 interesting. Bye.
