A New Trek

Today weatherwise was a mixture of sun and torrential downpour. Up at 0400h with the wee fellow this morning who arrived outside our bedroom door and started to cry. Door to front room not closed properly and he managed to nosy out. Let him out and he chased around the perameter fence but didn't appear to catch anything, he then came up to our bed and as is his want took over. Tonight he is put back downstairs.
Fry up for breakfast, quick wash then off to try out our new forestry key. We pay to saw fallen and dead trees in the forest, as we do this, for the deposit of £10 we now have a key that allows us into our alloted woods. We decide to investigate a trek we had not been along before, apart from the heavens opening it was rather pleasant, needless to say Ruaridh loved it and disappeared on one of his long adventures. Much shouting and whistling and he appeared.
Next stint was over to the tree we have started to saw, in torrential rain we sawed and lopped and got a few logs and lots of small sticks, which are keeping the stove glowing as I write.
Hot chocolate oatcakes and cheese on our return.
Veggie sausage and mashed tatties for dinner, smells delicious.
Just been looking at some trips to Patagonia looks and sounds amazing---Dreams:) Bye.
