Flight
When I was wee my dad told me a story of how when he was 6 years old my paternal grandad had taken him for a flight round Blackpool Tower. I always thought this was amazing as it happened in 1925, however out of the blue today my mum produced the certificate presented to my dad by the pilot. The plane he flew in was an Avro Biplane owned by the Cornwall Aviation Co. Two years later Arthur C. Clarke flew in the same plane with his mother, dad was a big fan of his Sci Fi books.
Weather overcast still very warm, after breakfast down to the beach with Ruaridh, he had a great time and run for ages chasing the birds and just running.
Back at mum's late lunch then I had to go to the supermarket to get some food for dinner, torrential rain!
Made lasagne for dinner with a green salad lovely, mum and me ate it by ourselves as Graham had gone to see the 'Motorcycle Michaels' with Harrison and Ruaridh. The carparks in the town are cleared Monday evenings and the motorcycle people meet up and talk yes motor bikes!
Helped mum with her knitting, did the dishes, tired so to bed when I have finished this. Bye.
