Camera

Today I got my wee Canon camera back from A.J Johnstone who have repaired it for a reasonable cost and replaced the 'chip' free of charge, I am very pleased with it. It was a gift from Graham so I am happy they could repair it. It stopped working when we went on our canoe trip to Loch Loyne, I was quite sad as there were lots of images I would have liked to photograph, still it is now up and running.
Up early to wait for postie who didn't arrive until 1100h, so whilst I was waiting did some knitting, had breakfast and a wash.
Set off for the beach, not as good as yesterday, overcast, warm, muggy and lots of midges. Ruaridh enjoyed himself swimming and chasing after his usual stones.
Back home spoke with Layla and Bella they had been to the softball play area and Layla had met up with a young woman who had her baby the day after Bella, and was in the same room. Always think this is nice, when I was having Layla I met a woman of like mind but sadly we did not keep in touch, we used to have a good laugh at the ante natal classes:) Had lunch, then I got stuck into the cleaning, our room, the stairs, hall and the front room.
Did piles of ironing, potato and leek soup for dinner, with tinned salmon sandwiches and a big mug of tea, lovely.
Watched 'The House of Saddam' on BBC2 last in series. Some interesting parts over the past 4 weeks, Bye.
