Rain

Nothing much to talk about today, from getting up until about 1600h we had almost continuous torrential rain. We had to go and pick the Jeep up from the garage where it had been to get its MOT. Layla telephoned had a chat with her and Miss B, then breakfast, a wash and off we go, stopped up the hill to take Ruaridh for a walk in the woods managed not to get too wet.
Picked up the Jeep and headed home still in heavy rain.
Got the fourth batch of cucumber relish ready, then went over to Christine's to get more jars to put it in when ready, as I have run out of lids! Saw her grandchildren and had a chat with her she is full of a cold, poor thing. Ruaridh came with me he loves Christine and he knows there is always a biscuit there, missed a rabbit on the way home.
Fennel in white sauce and parmesan cheese with pasta and salad for dinner, delicious.
Finished the relish now in the jars, made milk bread rolls just waiting for them to bake.
Away to Gairloch tomorrow to see Liz, Justine and Cammy may stay the night in the tent or a 'wigwam'. If we do no Blog. Bye.
