Bealachasan

Today was a super day warm and sunny, we decided to walk over to the old chimney stack at Bealachasan. We had our breakfast, and I had a shower, yes courtesy of Thomas in Lewis it is now working, (he sent us a fuse)!
We set off and Ruaridh was delighted to be going back to one of his old haunts! the weather as mentioned was stunning! got lots of photographs on the way. Lots of sunlight coming through the trees and highlighting the drops of water (rain)? on the branches.
Arrived at the chimney the trees all around were all looking autumnal amazing colours of yellow, orange, red and brown. Took more photographs and once again saw the old bedstead, which has been there for years. We have lived here for the past seven!
Decided to head a little way up Glen More, it was very wet so we just went a short walk, but we have decided on a longer trip, maybe camping as well in the hopefully not to distant future.
Arrived back home had lunch, then I did some clearing up in the greenhouse and the garden, also attempted to clean the inside of the car for the trip south tomorrow.
Superb dinner courtesy of Graham great curry, rice, Syrian flatbread and cucumber and yogurt washed down with ice cold beer. Forgot to mention the apertif- limoncello with tonic, ice and lime. Hmmm!
