Helicopter rescue.

Rainy day at the Glen as we left to travel South. Left at 1130 hours as we were travelling down via Glasgow to visit Graham's mother who is still in hospital. The drive down was pretty good, and we came through Glen Coe, which to me looks amazing whatever the weather. Stopped on a small backroad to let Ruaridh have a walk, and to have a quick snack. We can now let the wee dog run free most times, as yet he is behaving and not running away. We found a bridge with the river tumbling over the rocks below, he loved this but was a bit reluctant to go over the bridge. Moi forgot my camera, so after a short walk back to the car to get it, then back again to take photographs, Ruaridh was in his element running between Graham and me.
Travelled on, when we got to Loch Lomond side we heard the sound of an engine and noticed this helicopter hovering over the Loch, we then saw that someone was being winched up out of the loch whether it was for real or a practise run it looked pretty amazing.
Got to the hospital and aunty Jessie was visiting, Graham's mum looked quite well and we await news of her discharge, for assessment
Got to Edinburgh about 1800 hours had a cup of tea and the rest of our sandwiches, then over to Layla and Joe's for dinner.
Superb food, delicious pasta dish and salad, followed by a super sweet apple crumble and evaporated milk, hmmm. Now home and just about to go to bed, work tomorrow.
