Up the hill.

Today visited an area in the village I haven't previously been to, as the village is very small even I am surprised at myself. John H who is going to do some work for us here and hopefully in Edinburgh, was working in a house at the back of the village up a hill. We had to speak to him today to make a start, as tomorrow we leave for a week in Edinburgh.
Weather very rainy today say no more, enjoyed my bath and hairwash, then breakfast before going to the village and then the beach. Didn't get too far on the beach was freezing cold and raining cats and dogs. Quick sprint down the beach then turned round to head for home.
Saw Christine in the field collecting soil from the molehils in the pishing rain, shouted to her to come up for a cuppa which thankfully she did.
Had the left over chowder for lunch, offered some to C which she refused though managed a spoonful and liked it. Won't see her for a couple of weeks as she is off to Shetland. Cleaned the BR, and front room prior to going south.
Dinner tonight risotto frittata, roast potatoes and peas, lovely.
Going to try and do more knitting and eat some chocolate, maybe.Bye.
