Postcard

This morning postie brought us a postcard from Miss B and her mummy and daddy sent from their vacation in Holland. They have had a lovely holiday and Bella has had a great time riding on her new cycle seat attatched to her dad's bike.
Awoke quite late, early morning cuppa, fed the dog then back to bed to read. Layla telephoned and they have all had a lovely holiday.
Had porridge for breakfast as we felt very hungry and it was a downpour outside, followed by pancakes and coffee.
Wash, then down to the village store for messages saw Christine our neighbour who is feeling better today. Walked down to the river estuary, got absolutely soaked the rain was torrential, Ruaridh got to run after some skimming stones then two rabbits.
Back home had lunch, made soda bread then the dough for the pizzas, also got the vegetables ready for the cucumber relish.
Pizzas and red wine for dinner deicious, ate whilst watching 'The Great wall of China' on Channel 4. Really enjoyed this!
Going to do some knitting, then to bed got a good novel to read. Bye.
