Beer

Sat here writing Blog early for once, drinking one of Lidl's Fink Br'a'u beers-quite good.
This morning in the N/W of Scotland it dawned moist and misty. Had a relaxing bath as our shower is still kaput! then a somewhat leisurely breakfast before donning our wet weather gear, (by now the rain was tippling down) to head off to the beach for our walk of the day. Believe it or not when we got there the rain had stopped. Enjoyed the walk, the water in the river and Ruaridh's pool was very clear.
Made Greek beans with tomatoes, mint and thyme for dinner, also boiled the chickpeas, to make hummus tomorrow. Graham just pouring his chili tomato sauce into a bottle.
Thomas telephoned from the Isle of Lewis to say how much he enjoyed his courgette relish, he should have kept it till at least December!
Finishing now as I want to do some more knitting of the wee blanket. Goodnight.
