Edinburgh Botanics

Graham had to go into the studio today, so I ordered Ruaridh's treats from 'Veggie Pets', spoke to Layla on the telephone, and had a shower prior to setting off for our walk in the woods.
Had a good walk, the dog saw lots of grey squirrels which I think are a bloody pest, once cost us £1000 to get them out of the loft, and also we don't appear to have as many red squirrels now. Can't let Ruaridh off his lead for any length of time down here, as he would chase off and there are too many roads, close to the woods. However he did get a play with a retriever dog on the park called Hugo!
Met my chum Jane who is over from Andorra, at the cafe in the Botanic gardens, we had a good two hours worth of chat, and it was good to see her again. Going to try and have a dinner with her, Jane R and Christal when she gets back from her trip to Russia-St Petersburg. Walked home, Graham made butternut squash rissotto for dinner which was delicious, I made bread. Did some more knitting and now going to bed, Goodnight.
