People on the Beach

Christine my neighbour left for the Shetland Isles today, take it she got the small bus as she didn't telephone us. Postie was here very early this morning, we hadn't had our breakfast, I was still in my pyjamas and Ruaridh missed her as he was still on our bed!
Weather changing all day, sun then rain at all times accompanied by a strong wind. We went down to the beach with Ruaridh, no otters but met this couple who were holidaying in the Glen. Good to chat with them, they stay in Perthshire but would love to buy a cottage up here. Lots of foam on the beach due to the high winds, nothing of interest washed up.
Came home did The Blue Boat for my blip, I love that boat would like to find out who owns it. Made bread it seems to go very quickly, also the fourth batch of cucumber relish. Started the cleaning today, in no time will be closing the house this winter, to be on hand in Edinburgh if Layla and Joe should need us when the wee one arrives. Better a ten minute drive rather than four hours it takes us from the N/W.
Graham made a delicious dinner tonight, char grilled tuna steak, rice and vegetables with prawns, served with a super chili sauce, Syrian flatbreads and a Lidls beer.
Pulled the blanket back once again maybe the room is too dark where I am knitting, also my needles are different one imperial, one metric, ah well will crack on now. Goodnight.
