South we Go

Yesterday was our day for going south to 'Old Reekie'. Pretty hectic getting ready to leave, greenhouse to see to and generally tidy the house. Took Ruaridh down to the beach very quiet and quite a heavy atmosphere, we finally left at 1500 hours. Road was very busy in both directions, but then it is the Glassgie long weekend.
Arrived home about 1900 hours to an immaculate house, (as mentioned in previous Blog) my neighbour Patricia and son Patrick had lived hear for the past two weeks whilst work was done in their house. The house was lovely thanks to Patricia, who had also left us a gift of wine for which we say thanks, it was a pleasure to help you out.
Layla had made us a super dinner of stuffed cannelloni and tomato sauce which we enjoyed, Joe and Layla and brought it over and it was good to see them.
Knitting not to bad will try and get more done this next two weeks. Goodnight!
