Allotment 2

Awakened early this morning due to the banging and crashing from the house opposite, which has changed ownership for the first time in over eighty years. Only saw one workman stood in the bathroom window frame, but it sounded as though the house was being demolished!
Graham was going through to Glasgow to visit his mother who is still in hospital, apparently she is a little improved.
I took Ruaridh up into the woods we had a good walk but didn't meet another dog or owner! only saw the remains of a campfire. Arrived back at the house and about twenty minutes later Layla came to pick us up to take us over to the allotment where we were going to help her. The allotment looked good, picked up fallen apples from the ground which are to go into the compost, picked runner beans and later froze them at home. Did some weeding, put the onions on the bench in the shed to dry, cut back comfrey and put that in the compost, left some to be cut later and be put on the raised beds to make compost.
Went back to their house had a look at the nappies Layla had sent off for, they all look good, and what an improvment the new rubber pants are.
Layla drove us home and Graham was already at the house. Had a curry from Sainsbury's for dinner saves any hassle and tasted ok. Going to attempt some knitting (this is becoming a saga) and then to bed. Goodnight.
