Lavatory

Woke early this am as Christine our neighbour wanted a lift over the hill to get her bus to Inverness, at the start of her journey back to the Shetland Isles. No joy, she telephoned this morning to say she could not get her new car onto the boat? and would not be going up until Tuesday evening.
Had an earlier than usual walk on the beach with Ruaridh, and saw two otters playing at the edge of the river estuary, also about six herons stood on the edge of the shore. Then set off to Kyle to get some messages and to tax the Jeep.
On the way in I mentioned to Graham that I was going to do my blip for today inside the private lavatory in Kyle, we decided to do a twin blip. We had first come across these lavatories about fourteen years ago, when we borrowed a friends motor home and 'toured' the Highlands. At that time it was like Nirvana, after using the great outdoors for a lavatory, and the burns and lochs to wash in, it was good to sit on the lavie and have a shower. 20p for a pee and £1 for a shower, still same price today. We both took photographs and when we got back home made a decision which ones to use and posted! See them on blipfoto.com
Made lots of hummus on returning home, Graham made a lovely dinner, veggie sausage and mash with homegrown carrots delicious, oh and homegrown courgette and tomato sauce, swilled down with chianti.
