Down at the shore.

Had breakfast then went over to Sainsbury's to get some messages. Graham was going to see his mother in hospital and needed the car.
I decided to take Ruaridh down to the shore, it is quite a long walk part cycle path, part road but it is good when we get there as he is able to run on the grass and the beach. Quite misty when we got down there, Ruaridh had a great time playing with a greyhound Isla, she was a rescue dog and I am pleased to say Ruaridh kept up with her! Walked down on the beach and then up onto the promenade, met a young guy there called "Mac" and I can't pronounce his surname. He came from Yorkshire and was 'dog sitting', his family hailed from Nigeria. He was a colourful character both in dress and speech, and I asked could I take his photograph with the dog, for my blip. He agreed and the image I got is good.
As I was thanking him, I heard a woman say ' What an adorable Border', I recognised the voice and it was my chum Jane from Andorra (she is in Old Reekie until November) out for a cycle run with her friend Janet. Jane thought Ruaridh was great she played with him and he loved it. I had only spoken with her on the telephone yesterday and arranged to meet her on Thursday, small world! Eventually arrived home about 1530 hours, made soup for dinner. Going to carry on with my knitting and do the ironing, hoping to get to the beach at Gullane tomorrow. Goodnight.
